Southshore Domination at Winnipesaukee
Farrell and Allen take 1st and 2nd in TBF Eastern Divisional

(September 16-18, 2015 Lake Winnipesaukee)
Tom Brady stepped out of the shadows to win the Superbowl in 2001, Havlicek stole the ball in '65, and Bobby Orr won the Cup while flying across the crease in 1970...but as amazing and historic as those New England sports moments were, they have all been surpassed by the most unlikely duo of Bass'n heroes. Last Tuesday, Tim Farrell and Matt Allen were just two club anglers who enjoyed consistently beating up on the rest of their club at local tournaments. But today, with a dominant one two finish at the TBF Eastern Divisional on Lake Winnipesaukee, they launched themselves into the national spotlight and took the torch from Brady, Havlicek, and Orr establishing September 18th, 2015 as the greatest day in New England sports history!  Farrell and Allen shook up the world and showed everyone from Providence to Ottawa that they can't be beat, won't be beat on Winni, or anywhere else! And, adding to the sweetness of their victory was the incredible performance of the entire Massachusetts State Team who collectively weighed in 363 lb to beat the next closest state, New Hampshire, by over 70 lb! So, it's congratulations all around to Farrell, Allen, and the entire State Team for a legendary, historic performance that was truly one for the ages!

After dropping a bomb on the entire field on Day 1 with a 16lb 11oz limit, including a monster 5lb largemouth, Matt Allen took the overall lead by more than two pounds.  Farrell had a solid limit on Day 1 with 12 lb 15 oz which was good for 6th place overall.Day 2 proved a bit tougher for Allen, but he still brought in 11lb 7oz, enough to maintain his overall lead. Farrell, however, made his big move on Day 2, landing 14lb 9oz to jump all the way up to second place, just behind Allen. Day 3 was the difference maker as Farrell landed 11lb 8 oz while Allen could only manage 9lb 14oz.  That margin was all that Farrell needed to pull ahead and lock up the victory with a three day total weight of 39lb even, besting Allen's total of 38lb by just one pound.Congratulations to Tim Farrell for an incredible victory on the Big Lake and to Matt Allen for an equally impressive performance. Now, for both Farrell and Allen, it's off to the TBF National Championship next April as the quest for Bass'n Glory continues.  Stay tuned...this incredible run for these two amazing anglers is not even close to over...
