St. Lawrence River - ON
After three days of tough competition on the mighty St. Lawrence River, the State Team from Massachusetts emerged victorious, beating the other six states in the Northeast Division, as well as the host region Ontario! Both Jim D'Ambra and Bill Barrett turned in solid performances that helped push the Mass team to the top. D'Ambra finished 7th in the state with a three day total weight of 33 lb 15 oz and Barrett finished 10th in the Mass standings with 28 lb 2 oz. David McNary (Good Spirits Bassmasters) was the top finisher in Mass with 49 lb 15 oz, followed closely by Jim Gildea (Minuteman Bassmasters) with 47 lb 14 oz. Both McNary and Gildea will advance to the TBF National Championship in 2017. Congratulations to McNary and Gildea for a great win, and to all of the members of the Mass Bass State Team that brought home the victory for their state!
