October 5, 2019Wheeler dominates Mashpeeand lands AOY Trophy!Mashpee, MA
Brian Wheeler started strong in 2019 and he finished stronger. With a dominant performance at Mashpee Wakeby, Wheeler not only crushed the competition at the tournament but also locked up the 2019 AOY Title, the second of his career. Landing 15.91 lb of Mashpee Smallies, Wheeler turned in the only limit of the day and won the tournament by almost 10 lbs! It was a fitting finish to a great season. Full Story
October 5, 2019Balchunas wins lunker LM
In a fitting tribute to a great angler who is missed dearly by his friends and family, Wally Balchunas held on to win Lunker Largemouth for the season with a 5.68 lb hawg he caught at Monponsett during the first tournament of the year. With a fish that he caught only weeks before his unexpected and untimely passing, Wally has left us with a reminder of the passion he had for fishing and the happiness that he brought to those who knew him. He will always be remembered and always be missed.
October 5, 2019Drake lands lunker SM
Mike Drake, a deep water Smallmouth specialist, put his skills to use to land a 4.30 lb Smallie at Lake Winnisquam in September. Not only did that fish help him secure a 3rd place finish at Winnisquam but it also earned him lunker Smallmouth for the season and a $200 payout. Congratulations to Mike Drake for a great season and a great lunker!
