October 7, 2018Mollica takes HarwichElson wins AOYLong Pond - Harwich, MA
Kyle Mollica used his experience and his electronics to locate finicky Harwich bass on deep humps and points, and then it was his drop shot that put them in the boat. An expert at "video gaming" deep fish, Mollica didn't make a single cast until he marked fish and could drop right on them. His patience, and skill with his electronics, helped him land a respectable 11.08 lb and earned him his first club victory.
Despite having a tough day at Harwich with only 3 fish for 6.09 lb, Mike Elson managed to hang on to his first place standing overall and lock up his first Angler of the Year award. Elson had a great season with one victory and four 3rd place finishes. Full story
